Arie Blitz ’76: Personal Reflections

Beginning late last year, I had the opportunity of putting together a group of my classmates from the classes of 1976 and 1977 for a reunion at the annual Schechter dinner. It was a terrific experience reconnecting with members of my class, most of whom I had not seen or heard from in over 30 years. Alas, a work-related obligation prevented me from attending. Nonetheless, due to the remarkable technology of the 21st Century and due to the technical expertise of my classmate, Jeff Pulver, I was able to participate via the Internet. Thank you to Jeff and everyone else who made it such a moving experience. I look forward to returning to NYC someday soon to reconnect with my former classmates in person.    My memories left no doubt as to where I would enroll my daughter when I moved to Cleveland, Ohio — the local Schechter, of course.    Arie Blitz, MD    Coordinator of the ’76/’77 Reunion
