Parent Teacher Association

No school can function properly without the support of its parents.  Schechter Queens Parent Teacher Association is an active, vibrant volunteer organization that plays a key role in our school. The goal of the PTA is to develop and maintain active parent participation, support student and staff needs, and reinforce the partnership between parents, faculty and the school. Through various programs and fundraisers, the PTA enriches the  Schechter  Queens learning environment, and strengthens the bonds throughout the community by engaging students, families, staff and administration.

 

The PTA is composed of dedicated parents who volunteer their time to ensure all programs are well planned, entertaining and enriching. Some of the PTA activities include: Back to School Falafel Under the Stars, Book Fair, PTA's Coffee Time, Picture Day, Purim Card Sale, Purim Carnival Passover Candy Sale, and Faculty Recognition Luncheon.
